MISSION: RE/MAX is the exclusive real estate sponsor of Children's Miracle Network (CMN), an organization whose mission is to generate funds and awareness programs for children served by its 170+ associate hospitals throughout the United States and Canada. All funds raised for CMN in the RE/MAX Northern Illinois Region directly benefit Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago, a region center for pediatric care, specializing in providing the most sophisticated care for seriously ill children regardless of the family's financial resources.  Offices near the Iowa border support Children's Hospital in Iowa City.
HISTORY: CMN was founded in 1983 and has helped to raise more than $1 billion to date to benefit approximately 17 million children a year through associate children's hospitals that provide funds for treatment, equipment and research.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT: Since its affiliation in 1992, RE/MAX has raised approximately $75 million for local children hospitals. In 2006, the entire RE/MAX organization raised $11 million for CMN. In 2009, RE/MAX Northern Illinois raised more than $120,000 for Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago and Children's Hospital in Iowa City.  RE/MAX continues to be a Platinum Sponsor of Children's Memorial, one of the highest level sponsorships offered by the hospital.  Monies are generated from a variety of RE/MAX fundraising activities and from RE/MAX agents who pledge a certain dollar amount per real estate transaction. More than one-third of the offices in the RE/MAX Northern Illinois region are Miracle Offices, with each agent in the office making an annual donation to the hospital.
